Restaurant Momentum, located within the Amadria Park Hotel Capital in the very center of Zagreb, impresses from the very entrance.

The restaurant’s atmosphere is one of its strongest assets. The space is designed to the level expected of a top-tier five-star hotel: the interior, lighting, furnishings and details exude quiet luxury, contemporary elegance and warmth. Every element feels carefully considered and harmonious, creating an environment that makes it easy to relax and enjoy the moment, whether for lunch or dinner. The service is professional, discreet and confident, fully aligned with fine dining standards.
What’s on the menu?
The selection of ingredients reflects the restaurant’s high standards: Kvarner scampi, foie gras, premium steaks, San Daniele prosciutto, Iberico, selected cheeses and burrata, as well as main ingredients such as venison, turbot and monkfish. While the focus is on meat and fish, Momentum also offers a short but well-curated selection of vegetarian options, rounding out the menu nicely.
The wine list is particularly well thought out: focused on the local scene, optimally sized and elegantly curated. The selection is purposeful, diverse and aligned with the kitchen’s philosophy, without unnecessary excess.

What did our chefs try?
The lunch began with a carefully prepared amuse-bouche: flavored butter, fresh salsa and homemade bread immediately signaled a kitchen that values warmth, elegance and a clear culinary philosophy. As a cold starter, we chose the foie gras, executed with precision and finesse, with an emphasis on purity of flavor and presentation.

For the main course, we were served venison fillet with potato cream, caramelized onions and a wine-based sauce. The technical execution was very good, with a well-judged texture of the meat and harmonious elements on the plate. With a bit more depth and layered intensity, this dish could easily become a signature strength of this ambitious hotel kitchen. Toward the end of the meal, we also noticed a very good selection of cakes and desserts, visually appealing and diverse, although we did not try them this time, but we will certainly return.

Momentum is a restaurant that impresses not only with its food but with the overall experience.
